Waitlist privacy notice
Version v1-draft. This notice explains how FanSpace LLC uses your details when you join the FanSpace beta waitlist.
Who we are
FanSpace LLC, a company registered in the United States, [registered address]. Privacy contact: [privacy email].
What we collect
- Your email address.
- Your confirmation that you are 18 or over.
- Your marketing choice, the time you joined and which version of this notice you saw.
- The country your connection comes from (we do not store your IP address).
- How you found us (for example a campaign link or a friend's referral link) and, if you joined through a friend, that link.
- Optionally, your favourite competition and team.
Why we use it
- To keep your place on the waitlist and invite you to the beta. Joining the waitlist is your consent for these emails.
- To give you a referral link and count friends who join with it. Fans with more referrals may be invited earlier.
- To send FanSpace news and offers, only if you ticked that box.
Joining the waitlist does not create a FanSpace account. FanSpace never emails people you share your link with.
Cookies
If you open a friend's referral link, we set one small cookie (fs_ref) for 30 days so your signup is credited to them. Our analytics do not use cookies and never receive your email address.
Who processes it for us
Our hosting provider (IONOS), Cloudflare (website delivery and bot protection), Resend (email delivery) and [analytics provider] (anonymous visit statistics).
Where it is stored
[Country of the IONOS server]. Where data leaves India, the UK, Australia or the Caribbean, we use [transfer safeguards].
How long we keep it
If you unsubscribe, we stop emailing you immediately and keep only what we need to make sure you are not emailed again. Otherwise we delete waitlist records 12 months after the beta opens, unless you create a FanSpace account.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your details, and you can withdraw consent at any time with the unsubscribe link in any email or by writing to [privacy email]. You can also complain to your regulator.
